Pretty much unless you want to do one on one encounter with the animals. There are talks thoughout the day included that kids would enjoy I think. We didn’t eat or drink at the zoo but the cafe looked nice and there where some well priced souvenirs in the gift shop. We found It a really good cheap day out Hope this helps
