No you do not. This is not a shark dive where they chum the water and put on the show, it is a simple 20ft dive with 4-5 medium sized reef sharks swimming around. I wore a swimsuit and lycra skin on the dive in Mid Sept. Don't expect much from the dive guide - ours SUCKED!

I am not sure if you meant for just anyone to reply but the airport is in South Bimini which is only a 5 minute drive then 5 mnute water taxi over to North Bimini... you can fly from FLL to …

I am not sure if you meant for just anyone to reply but the airport is in South Bimini which is only a 5 minute drive then 5 mnute water taxi over to North Bimini... you can fly from FLL to Bimini on Silver Airways- the flight takes about 20 minutes or less. You should look into staying at the Big Game Club which is a nice small hotel where the dive company is located- it has a bar and restaurant on site. Happy travels!

Yes, the ferry is only from Ft Laudedale. Tropic Ocean Air flies from Miami.

I would say January - February is the best time to see a Tiger. It is possible to do a day trip on the ferry.
