The houseboat was once owned by the millionaire who owned Boldt castle and is moored alongside the museum. It does not travel. Inside the museum there are several "cabin cruisers" that are antiques that you can walk on and around. There are many old wooden boats of all kinds to see. They do have some antique boats in the water and I think you can call to get a ride during some of their special events. If you like boats it is a great place to visit.
