The cold weather didn't stop thousands of people from heading to Harrisburg for the first day of the Pennsylvania Farm Show.

A group of PennLive staffers had the difficult job of sampling the new menu items on Thursday at a media preview event.

Some new attractions include turkey showmanship, a petting "zoo" area with mini highland cows and Oberholsi dairy goats.
