Kenable said they used to buy such cables from a UK distributor, but now have got their own production in China. Price dropped significantly. Only tried on the 4K UHD Freesat test signal, 3840 x 2160p/50. Great video covering all sorts of activities.
Is the Ruipro 8k cable the only choice if you want full HDMI
2021年3月11日 · Bottom line is that a hybrid fiber cable like the Ruipro 8k, Gen-3/C will be able to handle all that you need now, and possibly in the future. But a big part of that will be cable installation and compatibility with the source/sink HDMI chipsets. There are no guarantees because there is more to a successful cable run than just the cable.

2020年8月18日 · Generally at 10m you're into fancy cable territory (active, fibre optic etc.), normal copper HDMI cables often won't work for 4k 60hz at that distance. Given that you're running 'data cable' (Cat 6?) then I'd be tempted to just use that instead and forget the single purpose HDMI cables. Plenty of HDBaseT and similar boxes available.

2021年11月22日 · Thanks everyone!!! - just to come back to say I went with the following optical cable directly off just Amazon: "FeizLink - 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Cable 5M 4K 120Hz 8K 60Hz 48Gbps Dynamic HDR10 / eARC/HDCP 2.3 Compatible" And it worked great - I have eARC, DolbyVision, 2.1, everything working very well over about 5 meters between Amp and TV.

For 8K you are too long for Ultra High Speed Certified cables so a non certified Hybrid Fibre is again the best option - though it is very early days ...
