2024年2月9日 · Airbus A220 cockpit was of course designed entirely by Bombardier and doesn't benefit from this commonality. I don't think that Airbus is planning to modify this A220 flight deck to make it common with the other types, the certification work would be too expensive. I heard that the current A220 cockpit is well designed and appreciated by its crews.

2020年7月14日 · Every time I notice it, I look out side and see and A220 gliding in. The aircraft is entirely silent except for the whale song during thrust changes. Watch any YouTube A220 takeoff video and you will hear it right as they push the power up for takeoff. Such a fantastic airplane and I cannot wait to get on it once this COVID nightmare calms a bit.

The extra thrust from bigger core would be useful, and worth the weight gain Otherwise, maybe take out the first stage in HP compressor to reduce weight and decrease core flow rate?
