Most reliable Stihl chainsaw of all time?
2012年2月18日 · My vote is for the 028`s, they are as tough as a battle tank. The homeowners had more of them than most any Stihl chainsaw in their day and there is nothing worse than a regular homeowner that only needs a saw 3 -5 hours a year.Neglect ran rampant and those 028`s would chug to life each year to cut a random downed tree and usually a couple cords of firewood.

2023年7月9日 · A chainsaw chainsaw 25cc top handle, it has a leaky tank vent but otherwise works great. A neotech 892, a 066 clone. It needed an oem decomp, cleaning/porting the oiler, a bar oil cap and a little gasket on the air filter cover to seal it up. After those mods it runs great.

2013年2月24日 · The Stihl website recommends a 16" bar for the MS290 and a 20" bar for the MS391, MS362, and MS440 models. Go a bit longer if you're cutting softwoods. As you know, a lot depends on the range of wood diameters you'll be cutting. I run a 20" on my 440; might think about a 25" later on, but I'm still getting used to the saw.

2015年6月28日 · I was using a saw of that series today with a 20" .325 bar. My recommendation would be an 18" bar in 3/8 or a 20" in .325. A 3/8 bar in 20" is marginal for that 59cc saw. A muffler mod helps a lot for this 1127 family of saws.j In Stihl bars, typically the .325 pitch are .063 gauge and the 3/8" are .050 gauge. (there are exceptions).
