Hi, I am trying to restore my iphone 6 back to factory settings,the reason for this is i had forgot my passcode which i had recently changed.I am going through the right way of connecting the phone to my pc but in itunes i still am not getting a pop up window appear on screen to RESTORE PHONE.can you please help me.

The iPod shows up in my iTunes sidebar, but it doesn't appear as a desktop icon, nor does it appear in the Finder sidebar. I have "show ipod" checked in Finder preferences.

Firefox would have nothing to do with that. If you are referring to Apple's web browser on Mac, its called Safari, not Finder, and no there is no Safari for Windows.
