Sad thing is I gather he passed away suddenly (I guess a couple or more years ago now) and his family relocated the business East and I think didn't get it restarted, but could be now for all I know.

2020年6月9日 · Have dealt with alot of 40 seats. On some the bottom springs were usable on some not at all. Usually the backs are good. Several have had the lwoer section done with layers of foam--turned out well and comfortable. Glide seats are nice but tend to break down on the outside corners. My ups guy added springs etc to the outside edge.

Bob told me he pitched his stuff as cheaper than Glide but with certain improvements despite obvious similarities (ha, its a seat for crissakes!!) All made sense and the quality is fine. Bengals is painted. Glide is powder coated, not that you can see any of it! There wasn't a 32 seat available at the time.

2017年11月15日 · The space left over for seats after the installation of the driveshaft tunnel is pretty narrow. GLIDE seats are too wide. A bench would be too high over the height of the tunnel. I have tried an early VW seat but it is too wide. I like the mounting rails and height. I am considering trying to narrow some VW seat frames to fit.

2024年3月5日 · I advise using the sliders. I've done several Glide bench seats in Brookville roadsters. The 7 inches of movement is nice to have. I set mine up so when fully to the rear the back would go a little way under the upper deck panel. I don't have pictures but I always recess the sliders up into the frame to get the seat as low as possible
