2020年8月24日 · I have a 2016 Elantra GT as well. Bought it new. Mines burning oil like crazy too. Lost power this week and took it to Hyundai dealer. Cat converter is plugged and needs replacing and needs a new engine. Waiting to see if they will cover the cost of a new engine. I have a 2005 Pontiac Vibe with over 450,000 km on it and running beautifully.

The sedans (this forum) are also close cousins, share some similarities, but not identical mechanically. Your 2013 Elantra GT is the only model year with the 1.8L NU engine. The 2014-2017 models had a 2.0L GDI engine.

2024年8月27日 · In need of sourcing an engine for my 2013 Elantra GT. I've been looking at numerous places, but have a question. Are there any differences between the GT and say a sedan engine from the same year? I wouldn't think so, but all of the selectors for websites break it down between GT's and sedans, so I'm not 100% sure.
