How could/should I use the kusarigama in Pathfinder 1e?

Presumably, somebody wielding a kusarigama holds the sickle ("kama") and the weight ("fundo") and attacks with each (hence the "double" attribute). 2021年7月16日 · Yeah but OP is asking if it is better than the bo staff for monks, who need to get that feat in order to use bo staves in the first place. So basically they need the feat to be able to use either weapon, and the only context in which the monk would have the feat and not have access is if the GM specifically disallowed the kusarigama.

2015年11月6日 · All of the above has no bearing on the kusarigama in Pathfinder. As written, both ends are reach-only (ludicrous) and you have to decide how much damage each end does. As for trips and disarms, EVERY weapon can be used to do trips and disarms. You can do them with daggers if you want. But weapons with the Trip of Disarm properties have benefits.

All of that with only one hand. But having a one handed weapon that can attack at 5 and 10, is too powerful for the weapons in pathfinder.

I thought that the Kusarigama was an interesting weapon with a lot of options. Can a Ninja that focuses on that weapon be a "viable" build? I'm open to any legal races for the build.

Kusarigama is probably my favorite of these reprints. Versatile B (or Versatile S/P on a B weapon) is really rare and valuable, and while disarm is kind of a dud, trip and reach are great. Balanced by being in the Knife weapon group, which is probably the lamest one around.
