Is the Vanguard really worth playing? : r/masseffect - Reddit
I figured as much. I've just run through the game with Miri and Garrus so many times I was half-hoping there was some obscure special synergy between a Vanguard and some of the more B-list squaddies. I've beaten Mass Effect 2 at least a dozen times and I think I've only ever brought Mordin on a mission other than his loyalty maybe once.

2021年5月22日 · As a vanguard main, it is pretty rough early game. Barrier is a no-no though. If you are confident with charging I'd honestly recommend Reave (even with the duration penalty from being on Insanity as it can stun enemies which can be the difference between life & death PLUS short cooldown) or if you want to be a bit more tanky, Geth Shield Boost is good.

2020年5月17日 · Vanguard in Mass Effect 3 was better. The weapon weight system allowed you to get your cooldowns short enough that you could actually do something shortly after Charging. Mass Effect: Andromeda, however, is when things get awesome. Vanguard is the highly mobile, close-range class.

Signature move Biotic Charge gets introduced in ME2, and will make you forget that Mass Effect is a cover based shooter from that point onwards. The bordering-on-reckless playstyle takes some getting used to but once over the learning curve Vanguard is a blast.
