This could be a memory leak problem, since the allocated RAM for Edge & its Facebook component increases bit by bit (up to 2Gb or more) until Facebook freezes and become unresponsive, often with a "Waiting for Cache" message.

2023年7月19日 · I have the same problem. It just occurred recently apparently when Edge upgraded. I prefer to use Chrome, not Edge. I want Facebook to work like before as an app not connected to Edge. I am tempted to uninstall Edge unless this can be fixed and restored to condition as before.

(I have changed my password from Chrome on Facebook several times and stored in my stand-alone password keeper, so no question I have it right.) Most likely this is a Facebook problem/glitch and "scannow" does nothing/finds nothing.

Ive cleared all cookies etc., reset my Edge browser in fact I've tried everything that I can think of but the problem still persists. Open FaceBook, a second or so later blank page with 'Sorry something went wrong :(' appears.

2024年11月8日 · I just got a new iPad Pro with OS 18.1 and the Facebook app doesn't allow me to login. I can do it via Safari, so it is an app problem, not a problem with connectivity or the new iPad. When I saw so many others having similar issues, I deleted the Facebook app and saved the Facebook bookmark to the home screen on my iPad. That works perfectly.
