2004年2月8日 · I have seen that series & he uses a PU type glue like Gorrilla. This cures with the moisture of the wood & should be put on just one surface. Some dampen the mating surface to speed it up. Don't use a brush with this glue as you will have to throw it away after. Its best to just squeeze the glue along the surface as it expands to fill any gaps.

2019年7月21日 · I have on the shelf Titebond, Gorilla glue, the Everbuild 5 min and 30 min PU glue and their D4 wood adhesive. If I am using Festool's Domino's to join things together, I will use a thinner glue because there isn't much tolerance and I make the slots slightly deeper to stop any compression issues with the glue.

We have just ordered a load of bottle glue that foams up when it goes off..... that might be the best for gap filling, and it is definatley strong, I had a wooden panel that i used that glue with stuck to my work bench the next day ended up having to dismantle the work bench to get it off! haha

2013年4月26日 · You can still buy the old animal glue it can be had from that carpet sounding company, its called Pearl glue, you realy need to make better joint though as any modern glue should hold perfectly. Also the glue that expands also needs tight joints as the expanded glue has virtualy no strengh and just fills the badly made joint with foam.

2005年6月27日 · Yeah, I use the nail method in a handy size bottle too. For big glue ups I have a tub of PVA and I leave a small brush in it permanently. This means it never dries out and is ready for use when needed. I decant PVA into my small bottle when necessary and occasionally I leave the need to soak in hit water for a while to loosen up the gunge.
