Applying the tweaks presented in this post on my i5 4690k, I managed to change most emulated PS3 games from unplayable (at default RPCS3 settings), to playable at full speed (30 fps or 60 fps) without fps drops or stuttering, even getting Demons Souls, Nier and Silent Hill Downpour all running at smooth 60 fps using the RPCS3 60fps patches.

Jul 17, 2020 · After manually deleting them rpcs3 finally started running. Uninstalling video drivers with DDU wasnt the solution for me. Followed advice on GitHub "Anamon: Bandicam doesn't need to be running, it will be hooked by the Vulkan runtime. Check your registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Khronos\Vulkan\ImplicitLayers, you will likely find it listed there.

Oct 5, 2018 · I try to make MGS HD Collection with RPCSR3 but my computer can't support the emulation. Now i want to get more space in my hard disk but i don't know how to uninstall RPCS3 and every others files that he install with Frimware, Booting game etc etc... If somone can explain me how to procede because i don't see any unistall executers in my files.

May 12, 2018 · The cheat homebrew pkg files out there install fine but do not run. Artemis runs and you can select what cheats you want, but when you select 'Start Game' the emulator thinks the process is finished and that's it - clears it's memory. As I've mentioned, the PC program Cheat Engine does work with RPCS3, and that's the closest you'll get for now.

Feb 10, 2017 · Hello! I just discovered about the rpcs3 emulator last night and downloaded the latest build of it, only to discover that it wouldn't start up on my system. (My system is Windows 8.1 64-bit.) So anyways, the first problem which I had was that a bunch of DLL files were missing. I easily solved that problem with Google.

Jan 15, 2021 · Yeah probably there was something iffy with dual cpu config on rpcs3. Currently only newest gen stuff from amd and intel can run most AAA games at decent fps. RPCS3 runs best on 8c/16t cpus, having less wil greatly reduce the performance and having more wont make much difference, maybe it will compile faster shaders while playing.

Apr 24, 2018 · Launch RPCS3 and make a shortcut to it you can easily access. Once the emulator has finished generating files, click file>Install Firmware and find and select PS3UPDAT.PUP, the file you downloaded from Sony's website earlier. The emulator will do a whole bunch of extractions and installations that will take 5-15 minutes.
