2024年8月23日 · I used Embrace scar therapy (silicone sheets that stay on for 10 days) on my thyroidectomy scar. It worked really well. I asked my breast surgeon about using it on my lumpectomy and SNB scars but she told me not to bother as her plastics training meant those scars would disappear; she was right.

Pain with tissue expanders two weeks post double mastectomy
2024年8月17日 · Before my surgery the doctor showed me the expander. It is a hard plastic thingy, not at all looking like any type of silicone or salin implant. So I was totally expecting that this would be how it feels, what you all described. I had my surgery on 8/26/24. Spent two nights in the hospital, and after that was on Tylenol for a week.

2024年7月31日 · There is also a tape you can buy that is impregnated with silicone and cut it to fit the scar (it looks like bandaid tape). I’m going to start using that as soon as my incision site heals. I think it’ll be more effective since it keeps the silicone in place 24/7 and it blocks the sun from hitting the scar while I’m in the pool.

My nipples never itched and never were a problem. It ihas been 2 years now, and underneath itches so bad that I am up in the middle of the night researching this.I had a lollipop procedure. However it is not my scar that itches. It is the skin underneath where the underwire hits. It itches all the way across, except for the spot where the scar is.

2024年2月12日 · They found a 16x8x7 mm mass that is more solid than the others with indistinct margins at 2:30. My previous mass was at 3:00. Apparently the radiologist noted "potential post surgical changes" aka scar tissue as a possible cause but I still have to have a biopsy.

2024年7月31日 · The other things I learned about post-lumpectomy that were helpful were to use ScarAway silicone sheets on the scar site (after your 2 week post-op, and with your doctor's permission) — it really does help with scar healing and 3 different doctors commented on how well it was healing.
