2018年12月12日 · I'm towing with a 6.2 with 10K gross and about 2700 cargo, pulling a trailer which is probably 11K now but will be 11.5-12K. Just pulled it 800 miles through rolling terrain, never close to foot on the floor. Did drop to 3rd a couple times (6 speed). It may not be a diesel but it's a 385hp 405ftlb engine so not too shabby.

2020年7月21日 · If money is no concern, get the 6.7 diesel/10 speed, towing just about anything, anywhere, is effortless. My 7.3 tows wonderfully, lots of torque at low RPM's. 8-10 MPG towing. When pulling uphill, I have experienced 9-8 downshifts, engine never exceeding 3500 RPM (no typical screaming gas RPM's) while easily maintaining 65 MPH.

Now two a 40' Primetime Sanibel at about 16,000 lbs with a Chev. 3500HD diesel dually and average 11.7 towing. rarely go over 60 because I don't; what a problem if I have to jam on the brakes to stop the dam thing.

2017年7月24日 · That 6.2 is a great motor. my 2011 has 60k on it now- towed my 5th wheel about 30k of those miles. I added a k&n cold air intake and a 5 star tuner- the combo adds about 35-45 hp but whats is really great is the improvements in shifting and throttle response.

2016年6月18日 · I have a 2016 F250, 6.2, 4x4, CC, 6.5 ft bed. It tows the trailer nicely. I have a Reese SC WD system (15,000/1,500) and a Reese dedicated anti-sway bar. Three add-ons I have done to the truck are: TorkLift overload spring pads. I have the camper package, which gets you the overload springs.

2018年12月12日 · I have a 2017 F250 XLT 6.2 with 3.73 gears, pulls our camper great. We have a 2018 Salem 27RKSS. Pulled it in the Black Hills of South Dakota this summer and didn't have any issues pulling. Our CCC is listed as 3294 on the yellow sticker. I believe the 2017 and on have higher capacities due to the aluminum bodies and upgraded frames.
