You'll find four levers and a reset button. The first task you have is to reach the room at the very top of the room. I numbered the levers from 1 to 4, starting at the left. The rightmost lever (lever 4) controls the far pillar. Pull that lever four times to raise it all the way up. Pull lever 3 three times so you can reach the ladder on pillar 4.
