2020年1月4日 · I do use the CeraVe Cream on my body though (love it!). I also am able to use other CeraVe products (foaming cleanser & SA cleanser) and moisturizers (CeraVe Ultra Lightweight PM Moisturizer is great!) on my face with no problems. My holy grail VaniCream product is the Gentle Cleanser. It’s awesome.

2020年12月6日 · For my teenage son's acne his most recent, most helpful routine has been Vanicream cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer twice a day approximately 12 hours apart. Everyone's face is different, but sometimes simpler is better and many facial cleansers that target acne have harsher ingredients like Cerave cleansers can be detrimental.

2022年8月5日 · The ceramides in cerave are great but for healing a damaged barrier you want as simple and gentle as you can. You could also use an even gentler, blander cleanser like the vanicream one or pipette baby wash.

2019年8月23日 · I have to assume the name vanicream is supposed to be a sarcastic joke, because you have to rub it in for like three full minutes to get the whiteness to "vanish". When you first put it on your whole face is just pure white. Cerave is much better at absorbing. I have a tub of both and can only use the vanicream at night because of this.

2021年3月8日 · The Vanicream is more stripping than the Cerave. In my routine I use Cerave am to wash off actives and Vanicream at night to get sunscreen off. On no sunscreen days (snow, absolutely no going out) I much prefer Cerave am and pm. For younger skin I don’t see the Vanicream being a huge problem though.

2023年1月10日 · Used to be a big CeraVe gal but now, I prefer the Vanicream - feels great on my skin and has cleaner ingredients than CeraVe. At the risk of sounding like a paid actor, I use an app called Yuka to scan the ingredients list of all skincare products I buy - and surprisingly CeraVe products often score pretty low.

2022年5月1日 · I find cerave to have more humectant properties, i feel plumper. Vanicreame has more occlusive feeling, from higher petrolatum content, imo. It feels thicker and heavier, but i dont feel plump, if you know what im getting at. Im going to try cetaphil cream next. It has glycerin, petrolatums, and niacinimide.

2022年2月5日 · I don’t have any actual data on ingredients but I’d been trying both cetaphil and CeraVe for years and recently swapped to Vanicream. My skin in the happiest it’s been in a long time. I’m using Bioderma sensibo for makeup removal or the cleanse if no makeup. Vanicream gentle wash afterwards if I wore makeup.

2024年3月10日 · I have no idea why, but I've tried the Vanicream moisturizer twice and both times it burned?! Like it literally stung so bad. I have acne prone, sensitive combo skin. But anyway, the Vanicream formula includes squalene derived from olive oil and the CeraVe is an oil-free formula. For some people, oil or oil based products make them breakout.
