Rubbing/Binding sounds while making sharp turns on payment.
May 2, 2012 · As I pulled though a sharp left hand turn at the drive though last night, it was as if the wheels were having the break applied as I was trying to move forward. A rubbing sound came from the front wheel/axle area. The second I straightened out the wheel from the sharp turn, everything freed up. Almost like a binding / grabbing feeling.

Feb 11, 2016 · Fast forward a couple days and go to start it up. Jeep sounds fine on startup no noise, when it gets up to operating temp it makes what sounds to me to be a loud taping or knocking. This only happens when its up to operating temp. Oil pressure on startup is near 40lbs, when driving down the road about 11 and when idling the gauge reads 0!

Nov 27, 2024 · Sounds like maybe a massive vacuum leak, but seems that would be easy to find. Have you spoke to Troy after adjusting the idle with IAC unplugged. I also did a HEI to get rid of the stock ignition system. I bought a program for monitoring the system but can't remember the name now and it's on an old laptop somewhere in a box in the shop etc.

Mar 6, 2012 · when dealing with a draw on your system anything over 100 ma is a large enough draw to kill a battery over night. If your reading .25 thats 250 ma draw. When checking make sure all the doors are closed, the hood lamp is unplugged and any extra accessories are unplugged (phone chargers etc.).

Apr 26, 2017 · You can't pass a pressure test with a leak large enough to cause a "puddle". Sounds like the dealership either screwed up the test or worse they simply lied. In my experience having an independent mechanic look at any potential issues is better than letting the dealership who is trying to sell you the car do the diagnosis or inspection.
