The Pilates movement swimming seems like such a fun exercise but little did you know how many muscles were involved when the movement is performed correctly. Aside from the obvious spine strengthening, you’re using your transverse abdominals for pelvic stability, delts to move shoulders from one side to the next and definitely your glutes and hamstrings to extend the hips!! So next time your instructor gets you doing swimming, say thank you for all the strengthening you’re doing at one time! | C
